By: Lyra Liza MahinayIt is the time of the year again where everyone is busy looking back, figuring things out, and the tradition of making a fresh set of goals. 2020 was indeed a tough year, but one thing is for sure, it taught us the value of resiliency. We fear for our life, and our safety is at risk. People are devastated due to the loss of loved ones, silent personal battles, and bothered inner peace. These factors have greatly affected our way of living throughout the year, but guess what? We survived!
Some of us may have difficulty sticking to goals because we do not usually consider them seriously. We used to jot down a list of goals but do we make that a conscious intent? As we move on to a new beginning, here are some tips on making the most of your goals. Let us start making sense of your cents this 2021!
My goal for this year is to own a home.
Motivating yourself is an essential factor in realizing your goals since it will serve as your drive. Without passion and focus, you might likely lose the sense of urgency, which will lead to an irrelevant outcome. It is normal if you lose spark at times, but instead of being negative, review and track down your little progress from time to time. Doing so can help you feel a sense of accomplishment as you see the progress you are making. A detailed plan and a confident heart will help you reach your goals. I have always dreamed of living in a place that provides various opportunities, of being in a township that is not just a home. A community that lets you explore the freedom of living in an upscale lifestyle. There is no harm in dreaming.
A “buy a house” note has been sitting on my bucket list for so long. Before, I could not even imagine having it because I do not have the resources; I just got out of college, a total newbie. I wrote these lists four years ago, and now I needed to step up and remove this long term tenant from the bucket. I should have done it two years ago, or maybe I am just afraid of the “what ifs.” What if I fail? What if this is not really for me? What if I could not afford it? Luckily, there are real estate developers that give more value to our dreams. Camella, a leading home and township builder in the Philippines, offers flexible financing options to aspiring homeowners like me. As a starting investor, this is a great way to realize my dream; to own a property that I will call my home. For more information, visit www.camella.com.ph or contact 0917 5639 617.
